The Parisian born Racinet has lived in the United States since 1983, becoming famous for his ability to retrain difficult horses. Jean-Claude has devoted his life to the Baucherist principles of ‘riding in lightness’, which fosters balance by relaxing the horse – more so his mouth – excluding force in the wielding of the aids. He is the author of three seminal volumes on horsemanship. Two to three times a year, Serenity Farms is privileged to host Jean Claude in dressage clinics for select riders.
